Begin in Avignon, a city of art and history, then pedal through the Provençal landscapes to Beaucaire, with its river charm. Explore the wild Camargue on the way to Aigues-Mortes, a fortified medieval city. Conclude your adventure in Sète, the Venice of Languedoc, where culture, gastronomy, and Mediterranean views intertwine. An unforgettable journey combining sport, culture, and natural beauty.

Itinerary
Day 1
Avignon -> Beaucaire // 40 km // 100m positive elevation
Leave the beautiful Avignon and enter Gard via the ViaRhôna. Follow the Rhône on a shaded path, passing under the Pont du Royaume. Traverse vineyards and orchards after Aramon, then follow the greenway of Pont du Gard to Beaucaire, a charming town where art and history meet the influences of Languedoc and Provence.

Day 2
Beaucaire -> Aigues-Mortes // 46 km // 40m positive elevation
From Beaucaire to Saint-Gilles, follow a route that meanders through the emerging Camargue, between fields and irrigation canals. Explore the medieval center of Saint-Gilles before entering Camargue Gardoise. Follow the towpaths of the Rhône to Sète canal, admiring the unique fauna and flora, until Aigues-Mortes, a fortified town surrounded by marshes, vineyards, and salt pans. Explore the loops around Gallician to discover local vineyards and marshes.

Day 3
Aigues-Mortes -> Sète // 64 km // 160m positive elevation
This stage takes you towards the Mediterranean Sea. Follow the Rhône to Sète canal between Aigues-Mortes and Le Grau du Roi, then along the Mediterranean beaches. Cross La Grande Motte and the lido between the sea and salt ponds, to the Palavas-les-Flots lighthouse, not far from Montpellier. Enjoy the beaches and discover the Maguelone Cathedral, with a view of the Gardiole massif. savor shellfish and Frontignan muscat as a final reward.

Day 4
Loop around the Etang de Thau // 55 km // 200m positive elevation
Complete your adventure by circling the Etang de Thau, a picturesque highlight to this cycling epic.”
