With no engines on the boat, you get the gift of silence, as the only things you hear is the sound of the Nile waters splashing against the boat, and the serene sounds of nature. While you’re visiting the Pharaohs, why not sail like they used to? Ancient Egyptian tombs display inscriptions of very similar boats that were used by the Royals and Nobles! 3 Nights/4 Days – From Aswan to Luxor (Esna)

Day 1 Friday – Embarkation and visit Kom Ombo

Transfer from your hotel, or from Aswan Airport/Railway Station to the Dahabiya, and embarkation. Welcome to Aswan, the outpost of the Ancient Egyptian world and home to the unique Nubian culture. Once we set sail, we’ll head over to visit the unique double temple of Haroeris and Sobek in Kom Ombo. Lunch, dinner, and overnight aboard.

Day 2 Saturday – Gebel El Silsela

In the morning, we’ll head out to Gebel el Silsila where you’ll see sandstone boulders that have been around since ancient times and had chapels hewn out of these rocks by rulers from Pharahonic era. Afterwards, we’ll continue the day by sailing to a small island where you can swim in the Nile or relax on deck for the rest of the day.

Day 3 Sunday – Edfu/Horus Temple

On this day we’ll sail to Edfu where you’ll visit the Temple of Horus, the best preserved temple in Egypt. In the evening, dinner will be served on the riverbank under the starry skies. After that you sit back, relax, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Nile. At night we will be anchored at a quiet island, so that you can go for a walk or relax on the boat, if you’d like.

Day 4 Monday – Disembarkation, Khnum Temple, and Luxor Temple

After a leisurely breakfast the Captain and his crew will bid you a farewell. With your luggage safely in the vehicle, we’ll take you on a short walk to visit the Khnum Temple in Esna. After the visit, transfer to your next destination.

Payment Policy :

• 50% of total trip amount is required upon confirmation
• The remaining balance is required 3 weeks prior to the arrival date.

If the request is less than a month from the arrival date, then 100% of the trip amount is required upon confirmation.

Cancellation Policy :

• 35 days prior to the arrival date, free of charge
• 30 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the total trip amount will be applied
• 23 days prior to the arrival date, 100% of the total trip amount will be applied.

Not Included :

• 3 nights hotel stay in Luxor to fulfill Luxor sightseeing (optional, but recommended)
• The extra sightseeing, not included in the Dahabiya itinerary (optional, but recommended);
• In Luxor: Karnak and Luxor Temples – The Valleys of Kings and Queens – Hatshepsut Temple
• In Aswan – Philae Temple.
