Accommodation
The range of accommodation in this region is very limited, reflecting the fact that this is an off-the-beaten-track itinerary, with little-frequented villages, to the delight of hikers. The choice and possibilities are therefore limited, imposing certain constraints on us in terms of services: type of rooms sometimes with more than 2 people, simpler comfort than the usual Chemins du Sud hotel stays; or for meals (breakfast on day 2, or dinners on days 4 & 5), this generates certain particularities, which correspond to a Confirmed Walker level, and to a new itinerary.
2 nights in Vaison la Romaine in a vacation village with swimming pool and 2 hectares of parkland.
1 night in Gigondas in a communal gîte d’étape. Communal sanitary facilities. Rooms with bunk beds available. Breakfast is different from the usual service, as your guide will have to provide it, as the accommodation does not offer this service.
1 night in Bédoin in a 6-bedroom vacation village with swimming pool.
2 nights in Malaucène at the Gîte de Claire, with a 4-person shared room in a refuge atmosphere. It is unique in that it function as a gîte.
